AGGBOROUGH legend Graham Allner will be back as a Football League manager on Saturday to pit his wits against former colleague Ian Britton.

Allner led Kidderminster Harriers to Conference and FA Trophy success during his 15-year reign.

But Saturday's final pre-season friendly between Harriers and promoted Cheltenham (3pm) will see him plotting the downfall of the club now managed by Britton.

The current boss said: "With Graham being manager there, it will add spice to the game.

"It's a local derby anyway so there should be a good crowd and Cheltenham are a good side."

Harriers have only enjoyed one pre-season win so far and had to work hard for a 2-2 draw at non-league Worcester on Saturday.

Britton admitted: "We have to tighten up on things but our fitness levels are not a problem.

"With one game over two weeks, we have been able to work on a lot of the other aspects.

"We are still creating chances but must be better when we haven't got the ball. The Worcester keeper had to make three or four great saves.

"The pre-season results will all be forgotten if we win our first game against Lincoln."

Full-back Scott Stamps should return from his ankle injury for the first Division Three fixture.

Entrance to the Cheltenham match is free for U-16s.
