LOVELY ladies are being invited to become the female face of Kidderminster Harriers Football Club.

The Nationwide League Division Three side is running the Miss Kidderminster Harriers competition on Thursday, December 19, from 7.30pm.

Manager Ian Britton will join players Bo Henriksen and Drewe Broughton among the judges at the Aggborough Suite.

Women aged between 17 and 24 on the date of the contest can enter for the first prize of £300 and a chance to represent the football club.

The winner can attend home games, be involved with the end-of-season player awards, join the float at Kidderminster Carnival and be involved with events in the community.

A Harriers spokeswoman said: "Personality will play a big part in choosing a winner.

"We hope to try and bring some glamour and femininity to a football club which is mainly dominated by males although we do now get more female fans than we ever used to. "

Tickets are now on sale for the evening and further details, along with entry forms, are available from the club reception at Aggborough, Hoo Road, or by ringing 01562 823931.
