CELTIC roots rockers Bluehorses ride into Worcester tomorrow.
The quintet, whose repertoire is said to have a dynamic web of sounds from evocative acoustic songs to wild, complex arrangements based on traditional themes, will be appearing at Huntingdon Hall.
The band features classically-trained fiddlers Liz, who is also the vocalist, and Deb, who often launch into blazing bursts of reels and classical interludes, while new guitarist and multi-instrumentalist Neil Browning, who plays squeezebox, bouzouki, lute and recorder, gives the band a more traditional dimension.
Completing the line-up is drummer Nic Waulker and bassist Rob Khoo, who along with the rest of the band are known to throw themselves into every show with energy and passion. A fair amount of hollering is also on the cards.
The show starts at 8pm. Tickets cost £9 and are available from the Box Office on 01905 611427.
