THE girls at Prince Henry's High School have landed themselves a couple of important dates after success in cross-country and netball.
The Under-14 netball squad will represent the District at Saturday's County Championships after seeing off the opposition in the Evesham and Redditch Cup at Arrowvale Sports College earlier this month.
It was an awesome performance with the girls conceding just two goals in the whole tournament.
The shooters also proved on top form at the opposite end of the court as they secured five straight wins capping a great day with a 7-1 final defeat of Kingsley High School.
Captain Kirsty Wallis led by example with the rest of the side comprising Daisy Badger, Michaela Amphlett, Melissa Curnock, Emma Barker, Anna Chilvers, Almee Boddy and Jo Arnold all showing a real determination to succeed.
The Year Nine and Ten girls finished second at the regional round of the Inter-Schools Cross-Country to book their place at the National Finals in Cheshire on Saturday, December 7.
The six-strong squad comprised Charlotte Turner, Cherrie Gayton, Kayleigh Hateley, Emma Woodedd, Lucy Bunn and Emily Workman.
