NINE-year-old Claire Hurford is the winner of a turtle-themed poetry competition run by the town branch of Cheltenham and Gloucester.
Second place went to Charlotte Toomer and third to Kristofer Deykin.
They each won a goody bag and an account was set up for them with £20 for the winner, £15 for second place and £10 for third.
The prize also included being able to adopt a turtle for a year.
