A CASH injection has improved facilities for playful tots at a Droitwich Spa village nursery.
Youngsters aged four to five at Wychbold First and Nursery School, in School Road, can now enjoy extended facilities indoors and outside.
Money from the Worcestershire Local Education Authority has been spent on creating more classroom space, a covered outdoor play area, plus a new entrance, lobby and cloakroom.
Headteacher Eleanor Sinton said the school can welcome more nursery pupils next September and offer youngsters even better facilities.
"We are very privileged to have a nursery, which is an important stepping stone when children are preparing for school," she added.
