Mike Wilkes, FRPS, was the guest speaker at the October indoor meeting of the Kidderminster branch, with an illustrated talk Birds Autumn to Spring.
His pictures showed animals and birds in winter and spring, including action shots taken from a hide near his home, and the Scottish highlands.
Due to the dreadful weather and fallen trees at Bodenham Arboretum, the RSPB information day and the October outdoor meeting were cancelled.
The November 24 outdoor meeting will be to Belvide Reservoir. Those attending should meet on the car park just past Shut Green Village (map reference SJ8610) at 10am.
The indoor meeting on November 27 at St Oswald's Church Centre, will feature a talk by a representative from Worcester Barn Owl Society at 7.30pm.
Members attended the unveiling of the grebe information board, by Mike West, secretary of the executive committee, at Hurcott nature reserve on November 8. For details call 01562 67748.
