At the annual meeting, Margaret Stock reported on the group meeting at Menith Wood, which had a safari theme, and Bob Lawrence from West Midlands Safari Park was guest speaker.
Val Evans attended the half-yearly council meeting.
Members were asked to collect old jewellery, whole or broken, for collection by the British Heart Foundation.
Barbara Lees was elected to take over from retiring president Ann Newby. The committee was elected en bloc.
Sylvia Perkins, WI adviser, a member of the fund-raising committee, urged members to support all fund-raising activities organised by Worcestershire Federation.
The next meeting will comprise the Christmas party on Monday, December 9, at The Sun and Slipper, Mamble, 7pm for 7.30pm.
