The caravan at Breen Sands, which provides holidays for disadvantaged families with children, has now been closed down for the winter. It has been cleaned and minor repairs have been made, so it is ready for the spring.
Members spent a weekend at Co-op stores in Stourport and Kidderminster, encouraging shoppers to purchase an extra tin of food to make up parcels for the needy at Christmas.
Fund-raising has moved indoors, including a bric-a-brac sale in the Corn Exchange, when around £150 was raised.
A regular feature of the winter calendar is casino evenings, when profits are shared with other charities.
Members are now preparing for the biggest event of the year, the Christmas float.
The float collections start on Saturday, December 7 in Kidderminster, continuing until Saturday, December 21 in Stourport.
Anyone avaiable to help with the collections should call 01299 825230 or e-mail ron@arandel.freeserve.co.uk.
