DIVISION Two leaders Ambassador maintained their perfect start to the Evesham Sunday League season as they recorded a seventh successive league win with victory at in-form Pershore.

Goals in each half from Schembri and Crawford proved enough as they moved four points clear at the summit.

Closest rivals Offenham Rovers recorded a comfortable win over basement club Moreton Town. Sollis (2), Burrows (2) and Tustin were on target with Gardner netting a consolation for the visitors.

The top two met in Division Three, with Queens surprising leaders Defford and Besford.

The Stratford side raced into a three-goal interval lead with goals from McAdam, Fraser and Morris before a Richelet brace completed the win.

Mountinneers remain third after hitting eight against Riverside with Nick Stanton scoring four times.

Crowle hit eight past Honeybourne with Stone netting five times on a day when Phil Layton's treble was all in vain.

A Summers double helped Wickhamford earn only their second point of the season against Oddfellows Arms.

Golden Cross continue to lead Division Four after hitting Bretforton VIC Reserves for six. Brown (2), Onens (2), Groves and Dewick were the Harvington side's marksmen.

Upton Snodsbury moved back to the top of Division One after a seven-goal romp in the local derby at Inkberrow. Wood (2), Annis (2), Aldington, Moss and McMa-nus provided the goals.
