A TRIO of hat-trick men ensured a feast of goalmouth action in the second division of the Stratford Alliance last weekend.

Chris Key's treble for Henley Forest proved the most crucial in a 3-3 draw with Kenilworth Town, while Paul Keyte's hat-trick was the difference between Campden Town Reserves and winners Blockley Sports.

Adam Phillips topped the scoring list with four as Alcester Cross Keys overcame Long Compton Rovers 7-1.

The Cutler-sponsored section's other match saw Bidford earn a welcome point courtesy of an own goal against Dog and Pheasant.

There was also goals galore in Herald Division One with the four matches producing 24 with Claverdon Old Boys and Stratford Spartak sharing eight.

Ilmington Revolution were the top marksmen with five at Alcester Lions, Badsey United's second string won 4-1 at FISSC while Tysoe settled for three as Quinton lost out on the road.

Only two matches took place in the Journal Premier Division and both involved teams from Badsey.
