POLICE have "extra eyes and ears out in the community" after linking up with district transport firms.
Transport Watch, launched by Kidderminster Police, covers Kidderminster, Stourport, Bewdley and Hartlebury, and aims to increase the flow of information on crime trends and incidents.
PC Andy Hill, of the Crime and Disorder Reduction Team, said: "Sharing information is a highly effective way to combat crime.
"As with other 'watch' schemes, it will give police the assistance of extra eyes and ears out in the community and will let people know when to be on the alert for potential crime."
Firms interested in taking part can contact PC Hill at Kidderminster Police Station on 01562 820888.
