PUPILS will be coming up with their own ways to press home the "We Don't Buy Crime" message in a special event being organised by Kidderminster Police next week.
The initiative, launched earlier this year, aims to stem the flow of hard drugs by targeting the trade in stolen goods.
Eighty pupils from middle and high schools will gather at the Gainsborough Hotel in Kidderminster on Tuesday to be educated about the message with drama, videos, posters and audio tapes.
They will then work in groups to come up with a way of getting the message across which would appeal to their peers.
Their work will be filmed and played to everyone, with the best presentation winning a certificate.
Organisers will visit the schools involved in five or six months' time to see which has best promoted the "We Don't Buy Crime" message.
