Black Boy's good run came to an end when they fell 4-3 to Rising Sun, while Bowling Club B at last triumphed with a 5-2 defeat of Cock and Magpie A.
Tim Green, P Carter, D McKenzie and D Johnson made sure Great Western stayed joint leaders as they easily overcame Waggon and Horses A 5-2.
