DRAINAGE work on the A491 at Clent to prevent a repeat of flooding problems experienced last year has been completed. The Bromsgrove Highways Partnership Unit has spent around £7,000 building a gabion headwall at the Bromsgrove Road lay-by after heavy rain last winter caused the dual carriageway to flood - restricting traffic to one lane.
