I MUST admit to being overwhelmed by the support shown by Worcester fans during my suspension.

It was wonderful to know I had so many friends at a difficult time. Obviously being a professional player, you want to play and to be forced to sit out two weeks has not been nice.

The people at the club and the supporters at Saturday's match with Moseley were fantastic though and I have to thank them for getting behind me.

The great thing now is that I get to play again on Saturday! The weeks away have seemed like an eternity, but this week I have had an extra spring in my step safe in the knowledge that there was a game ahead that I was available for! And what a game.

Plymouth away has to be one of the toughest matches of the season. Looking at their record over the past few years, they certainly do not lose many matches there and it is a real fortress with a passionate crowd behind them.

Saying that, though, I think the boys are really looking forward to the challenge.

We do not view these away matches as something to be scared of -- we relish the test. We are well aware that Rotherham just about won there with four tries recently so it will be a useful barometer to see where we are.

We've both won eight out of eight in National One this season but we feel we are more than capable of going to Plymouth and winning.

We've done our homework on them and they have a huge forward pack so they will do their best to try and drive us back. We have been working, however, on our scrum and rucking so hopefully we should be in good shape come Saturday. The set-piece will be an important area of the game and we know that.

With the weather changing people will start to question whether we can continue to play expansive, open rugby through the hands. I think you have to use tactics on a game-by-game basis but we feel as if we don't have to change our style too much. We want to play attractive rugby because we believe it will bring the rewards.

We haven't played in the wet yet this season so that will be a test, but you have to believe in the players' skills and the coaches' ethics.

We are not about to start playing conservatively but we accept that you have to adapt slightly. That doesn't mean, though, that we will revert to a kicking game.

We want to play with the ball in hand and score tries and we want people to recognise Worcester as a by-word for entertaining rugby. Players want to play that way and supporters want to watch it, so why change things?

We scored 12 tries at the weekend, with young Tom Richardson grabbing three, which cut the points difference gap between ourselves and Rotherham yet again.

It wasn't a classic match against Moseley but the main thing is the boys overcame their negative tactics and rattled up a good score. After analysing the performance on the video, however, we know we can still improve.
