A performance of Handel's Messiah is being given by the choir Philomusica of Gloucestershire and Worcestershire at St Martin's Church, Worcester, on Saturday, November 9.
The concert, at 7.30pm, is being held to mark the 50th anniversary of the mental health charity Scope, with proceeds going to the charity.
Soloists are Lyn Rimell and Dorothy Norman (Soprano), Val Bogle (alto), John Crayford and Pat Bridden (tenor) and David Parsons (bass).
The choir will be accompanied by the Orchestra of Dean Close School, Cheltenham, under leader Stephen McDade. Organist and harpsichordist will be Andrew Cleary, the school's director of music.
Tickets (£10, £9 concessions), from St Martin's parish office, London Road, Music 47 in Sidbury, or the Scope office at Unit 3, Lowesmoor Wharf, all in Worcester.
Philomusica is a 70-strong choir which gives about a dozen concerts a year, mostly in the Three Counties. Members rehearse in three groups, in Worcester, Gloucester and Cheltenham.
