MUSIC and wit from all over the world feature in forthcoming shows at Worcester's Huntingdon Hall.
On Tuesday (November 5), Music of the Northlands will feature the traditional music of the Faroe Islands by an ensemble of 12 master musicians brought together by the Nordic Council for Traditional Music. Tickets are £9 (£8 concs).
The inimitable Pam Ayres will be in the theatre on Wednesday (November 6), with Words, Wit and the Wonderbra! After 25 years as a poet and broadcaster, Pam still appeals to people of all ages and has been a regular on BBC Radio 2 over the past few years with her series Pam Ayres Sunday Afternoon and Pam Ayres Open Road. Tickets are £14 (£13 concs).
Guitarist and singer Kevin Dempsey joins fiddler Joe Broughton to perform new arrangements and original compositions based on the world's folk music on Thursday (November 7). Tickets are £7.50 (£6.50 concs).
On Friday (November 8), the Ken Colyer Trust New Orleans Jazz Band will perform Ragtime Resplendent, a tribute to Scott Joplin and other great composers of the day. Tickets are £10 (£9 concs).
