DAVE Titterton has been forced to stamp striker Mark Davis' 'return to sender' after the postman's work schedule scuppered his move to Stourport Swifts.
Walshes Meadow boss Titterton had targeted the Kington Town ace for tomorrow's home Dr Martens Western Division clash with Atherstone United (3pm).
But Saturday commitments mean Davis will not be joining the club and Titterton will now look elsewhere.
"I'm still looking for an option, possibly a loan signing, just to tide us over up front," he said.
"But it will only be a short term fix because we have plenty of quality of strikers when they are all fit."
Swifts are without Kerry Giddings (suspended) and Simon Marsh (broken toe), but forward Michael Moore returns after missing the midweek 4-1 defeat to Bromsgrove and Titterton will ensure his side don't carry any hangovers from their Dr Martens Cup exit.
"I've said to the lads that whatever they do they mustn't let their heads down but learn from Tuesday's defeat," he said. "We must go out and put right the things we didn't do against Rovers.
"Atherstone are a young side who will go all day with effort but really with the quality we have in the squad we should come out on top."
