GRAHAM Turner could be forgiven tomorrow for casting an envious glance at rival boss Dave Penney who last year splashed out a reputed £160,000 on Justin Jackson.

It's a figure the Hereford United manager can only dream about but it is that kind of spending that has made Doncaster Rovers one of the favourites to take the Nationwide Conference championship.

Turner has been forced to duck and dive in the darker regions of the transfer market but his shrewd eye has assembled a squad that has been one of the surprise packages of the season so far.

The Bulls take their impressive away form to Belle Vue (3pm) where Doncaster have yet to lose this season.

It promises to be a tough encounter for Hereford who will have Matt Clarke available after he missed the FA Cup win against Arlesey Town last weekend.

Despite Rovers' impeccable home form Turner believes his side can take something from the game.

"I think it is a difficult one but our away record has been good and we go there with every confidence," he said.

"Matt Clarke who missed last Saturday should be available and Ian Wright is in the same position.

"Andy Tretton gave us a scare with a heel injury but he should be fit so it has all the ingredients of a good game and it will be nice to get back to league action.

"Doncaster are a well-supported club, one of the fancied sides but we are more than capable of getting a result.

"They have invested massively in Justin Jackson from Rushden & Diamonds and he has got to be a threat playing alongside Paul Barnes who has got a lot of Football League experience."

Doncaster's on-loan midfielder Danny Hudson from Rotherham, who has made a flying start to his stay at Belle Vue, with three goals in his first two games is doubtful after picking up a groin strain against Telford.

Paul Parry remains the man most likely to score for Hereford with the attacker scoring three goals in his last four games.

FORMCAST: Bulls to bag a point in a 1-1 draw.
