For 20 minutes Broadwas held out but a cross from Chris Golding found Bryan Craven who put Powick one up. In the 38th minute Bryan Craven curled in a free kick for Phil Skilton to stab home from close range.

Powick kept the ball on the floor in the second half and in the 68th minute went 3-0 up when Bryan Craven scored his second goal.

With ten minutes remaining Gary Henderson got the ball on the edge of the box, side stepped a defender and neatly slotted the ball past the keeper. In the 85th minute Bryan Craven was brought down in the penalty area and converted the kick for his hat trick.

This Sunday Powick, sponsored by Dolphin Bathrooms, are at home to The Albion in the Nursing Cup, kick off 10.30am.

WEST HAGLEY 3, POWICK 0

POWICK travelled to Brierley Hill to play in the WFA Junior Cup.

Last season West Hagley, who play in the Midland Combination, beat Powick 2-1 in extra time, so a good game was expected.

Hagley went one up 15 minutes into the second half when a cross into the box found Owen Davies to score.

With ten minutes to go Hagley got their second when Aron White beat the offside trap and placed the ball past the keeper. In injury time Hagley got a third from Lee Jordan.

Tomorrow (Saturday) Powick are at home to Oak Apple (Lower Howsell), kick off 2.15pm.
