NEWTOWN COLTS, newcomers to the league this season, continued their unbeaten run.
Colts, sponsored by A-TECH engineering, have relied heavily on their defence and have been very difficult to score against. Defenders Oliver Brown, Jack Richards and Nathan Walker maintained their discipline to deny Suckley. They were ably supported by goalkeeper Jamie Francis, who kept a clean sheet on his debut standing in for regular keeper James Merely.
The midfield, led by captain Josh Fletcher, provided numerous opportunities for the attackers. Goals from Aaron Griffiths (2) and Chris Gittins gave Newtown a 3-0 half time lead. In the second half Griffiths completed his hat-trick with Gittins and Daniel Stow adding more goals.
