Dozens of families woke on Sunday to find damage to their homes and gardens.
Many trees had boughs broken off and branches littered the roads in the wake of the strongest winds for several years.
Fences were blown down, trees uprooted and garden sheds had their roofs torn off.
In Sling Lane, Malvern, Jacqueline Bagnall heard a large branch torn off a nearby oak tree hit her home, damaging guttering and roof tiles.
Canopies were torn off at Soundwaves in Worcester Road, Malvern, and Three Cooks bakery in Church Street.
Firefighters were called to numberous incidents, including a downed power cable at Kempsey. A caravan leaving the Three Counties Showground was blown over at about 8pm. A conservatory in Evendine Lane, Colwall, was damaged by a falling tree.
