THREE women who run for the same club will be testing their endurance to the limit this Sunday when they take part in the New York Marathon.
Sara Rose, Amanda Jeffrey and Nicola Walker all run with the Worcester Athletics Club.
They have decided to run the New York Marathon, not only for the challenge, but also to raise money for charity.
Miss Rose will be running for the Multiple Sclerosis Society and Ms Jeffrey and Ms Walker will be running for Macmillan Cancer Research.
The three women have been training together during the past few months.
"We run twice a week with the club and we have tried to go out for extra long runs on the weekends," said Miss Rose, a nurse who lives in Droitwich.
Anyone wishing to sponsor the trio can send cheques or postal orders to Miss Rose, PO Box 99, Droitwich WR9 9ZQ.
