PIECES by neglected British composers "who deserve a fresh hearing" will be played at Kidderminster Library's concert.
Michael Jones, one of the library's popular and regular recitalist, will perform Schubert's Wanderer Fantasy and music from Bach, Stenhammer, Dale and Joubert.
Jones, who lives in Stourbridge and is a graduate of Birmingham Conservatoire, is a partner of Dawn Gwilt and Howard Marshall in the Trio Maggiore, which has had a string of successful concerts this year.
Library manager Ron Hoggarth said: "He always plays an imaginative programme combining the familiar with lesser known pieces."
The show is the second in the series of autumn lunchtime concerts at the library.
The hour-long concert on Wednesday begins at 1pm and tickets are available in advance from the town library or on the door. For more details call Kidderminster Library on 01562 824500.
