FRENCH market traders are set to say "bonjour" to Kidderminster next month after a wrangle over where they would park their vehicles was ironed out.
Gallic groceries are set to make a long-awaited return to the town from Thursday, November 14 until Saturday, November 16.
Wyre Forest District Council lifted a ban on French traders - imposed in 1999 in protest at France's refusal to accept British beef imports due to BSE fears - last month.
But the event has only just been confirmed after a deal was struck to allow the French stallholders to use private land to park their vehicles for the three-day stay.
It is hoped the market will bring a much-needed boost to Kidderminster, which has been beset with a shortage of car parking due to town centre redevelopment.
