RESIDENTS seeking a blast on Saturday night are being invited to a firework spectacular at Cofton Park.
The rolling parkland at Cofton Hackett is the venue for a major bonfire bash between 5.30 and 10.30pm.
Galaxy 102.2 radio station is providing the music and for the first time the firework displays will be choreographed to the dance and RnB sounds.
Birmingham City Council has organised the event. A spokesman said: "We are committed to running organised displays because it's the safest way for people to enjoy fireworks."
Visitors are advised to wrap up warm for both events. Gates open at 5.30pm and entertainment begins at 6.30pm.
Bonfires will be lit at 7pm and stunning fireworks should light the sky from 8pm onwards.
Tickets on the gates are £4 for adults and £3 concessions for children. There is a 50p discount for residents with a valid Travel West Midlands bus pass or bus ticket for travel that night.
