At the October 14 meeting Pat Bell presided in the absence of president June Parkes.
Reports were given on the progress of the parish map project and also the enjoyable group meeting at Arley.
Brian Millward gave a demonstration on Indian cookery. Members enjoyed tasting the chicken curry followed by a splendid bread and butter pudding. All then departed happily with recipes for both dishes.
The annual meeting will be on November 11.
