The annual meeting was held on October 15 under the guidance of WI adviser Julie Rogers.
Edna Mills was elected president for the third year in succession and Lyn Linell and Tess Smith were retained as secretary and treasurer respectively. Sheila Ward and Margaret Booth won the Competition Cup jointly. Mrs Mills was runner-up.
At the next meeting, on Tuesday, November 19, just in time for Christmas, Bernadette Munnely will demonstrate "Gift wrapping with a difference".
