CHADDESLEY Corbett surrendered an early lead as a bad display led to a 1-1 home draw with Bustlehome Reserves in West Midlands Division One South.

The villagers went ahead through top scorer Craig Pratt's 12th-minute header but conceded an equaliser to Ian Bevan with 14 minutes left.

A 20-man brawl near the end made matters even worse.

But the home side started brightly with Matt Baynton's pinpoint free-kick met by Pratt's head.

Taffe had a shot cleared off the line later in the half but Chaddesley were guilty of taking their foot off the pedal in a disjointed display.

As they seemed content to defend a 1-0 lead, the policy back-fired when sub Darrell Wood flicked on a free-kick for Bevan to finish off clinically despite looking suspiciously offside.

With 10 minutes left, a Joss Price tackle caused a Bustlehome player to react, sparking a mass brawl.

Price and keeper Gareth Yarsley were booked, while Bustlehome had one man sent off and another yellow carded.

Brian Burton was man of the match and new signing Stuart Jordan had an impressive debut.

Chaddesley players are asked to meet at Brintons at 12.45pm for Saturday's game.
