BOXING: Amateur boxer James Boyle added another win to his record after a convincing display against Severnside's Matthew Moss.
The Kidderminster man gained a unanimous points victory, winning all three rounds on the judges' scorecards at a Shrewsbury show.
Boyle, 25, completely shut out his opponent and almost stopped him more than once.
He relied on his superior speed and timing against a strong and aggressive fighter.
Boyle worked well behind the jab and fired out solid counter shots and combos to leave Moss in trouble.
The Droitwich Amateur Boxing Club competitor admitted: "His hands came down and I can't believe the ref didn't step in.
"In my first bout I felt a little wooden. However, this time I was really able to work with my distancing and upper-body movement.
"It was great to see some of the things that I'd needed to work on coming together."
