MOTORSPORT: Talented young rally driver Ben Colley is leading the expert category in the Peugeot 205 Rally Challenge - with the help of a mobile phone.
Bewdley-based Colley was second, both in the Peugeot competition and in his class, at the weekend's Airwaves Premier rally in Nottingham.
The 19-year-old, who now races for Lincoln's Langworth Motorsport team, was tested by atrocious conditions.
Although a fuse failure gave the co-driver problems, he was able to use the light of his mobile phone to guide the up-and-coming Colley.
There is one round left in the Peugeot competition with the teenager well placed for a possible triumph.
