THIEVES made off with a guest's car after three hotels were burgled on the same night in the north of the county.
Two hotels in Kidderminster and one in Stourport were targeted, on Tuesday, October 29, and a laptop computer was also stolen.
At about 8.45pm on Tuesday, police received a call from The Ramada Hotel, in Habberley Road, Kidderminster.
Someone had broken into one of the guest bedrooms through a ground floor window between 7.45 and 8.45pm.
The thieves had taken the guest's car keys and made off with his silver VW Passat, parked in the hotel car park.
The car, registration number TON61Y, is still missing.
At about 9.10pm the same evening, police received a call from Stourport Manor Hotel, Hartlebury Road, Stourport, saying one of the guest bedrooms had been broken into through a window.
The theft had occurred within an hour of the call.
A laptop, valued at £1,500, had been stolen from the room.
Also on the same evening, there was an attempted burglary at the Gainsborough House Hotel, in Bewdley Hill, Kidderminster, at 8.20pm.
Nothing was stolen but a ladder was found leaning against the building, giving access to a first-floor bedroom.
