A HANDFUL of tickets are left for the biggest event in The Valentines' musical calendar, which will see musical director Pam Cunningham keeping it well and truly in the family.
The choir, which includes Pam's daughter Alison, will join forces with the Gwent Police Male Voice Choir for the event on Saturday, November 2.
To complete a harmonious reunion Pam's brother Rodger Appleby, who lives in Pontypool, is the Welsh choir's musical director.
D'Oyly Carte opera soprano Keira Lyness, who is originally from Wolverley, will also be a star attraction at The Valentine's annual fund-raiser, which aims to boost Kemp Hospice and Kidderminster Women's Refuge.
One of Keira's most recent projects has been performing for the soundtracks to the forthcoming Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings sequels.
Pianist Jonathan French completes the line-up at Kidderminster Town Hall, which is set to cram in a sell-out audience.
Music will be varied with the male choir performing a range of classics from Welsh hymns to the theme from Titanic.
The Valentines' repertoire includes Hungarian and German folk songs and barbershop compositions, while they always aim to include something by patron Tim Rice.
Mrs Cunningham, whose musical family also includes two guitar-playing sons and husband Alan who sings with Kidderminster Male Choir, urged people not to turn up on the night.
