THE sky's not the limit for a Franche councillor who will dive 10,000 ft for charity.

Kimberly Poller, of Health Concern, is taking part in a tandem skydive on Saturday at a Shropshire airfield, where she will freefall down at 120 miles per hour.

She hopes to raise £1,000 to support Wyre Forest Mind, and help fund social and recreational services for people with mental health problems in the district.

The 37-year-old, of Mill Street, Kidderminster, said: "It's a charity close to my heart because I used to work in mental health rehabilitation.

"Also, my dad used to be a paratrooper, so it must be something in the blood."

Mrs Poller, who became a councillor in May, has skydived for charity before.

And in order to get fit, she walks regularly and has put herself on a strict diet of fresh fruit and vegetables.
