SIXTEEN apartments will be built on the site of a large detached Kidderminster house after developers improved their plans.
Wyre Forest District Council planning officer Stuart Allum said an initial bid by Selbourne Homes to build 19 apartments on 28 Oldnall Road, which will be demolished, was "deficient in a number of areas".
But the planning (development control) committee voted to give the scheme the green light after he told members shortcomings relating to the height of the two apartment blocks as well as car parking provision and tree retention had been addressed.
