YOUNGSTERS from a Spa school took a leap back in history when they visited a local Chartist cottage.
Twenty-two pupils from Whitford Hall and Dodderhill School, in Crutch Lane, dressed up in authentic costumes, including their own Dodford bonnets, and visited Rosedene Chartist Cottage, in Dodford, on Monday. The ten and 11-year-olds took part in two activities which were on food storage and preparation and hygiene and laundry - showing them what things were like when people lived in the cottage many years ago.
