THE body of a former Bromsgrove schoolboy may not be recovered from the wreckage of the Bali nightclub bombing for another two months.
Pupils at Bromsgrove School held a silence and prayers in remembrance of old boy Tom Holmes, aged 39, before this week's half term.
Registrar Peter Fielding said he had taught the civil engineer and remembered him as a very pleasant young man who did well at school.
"It is a terrible loss," he said.
Paul Holmes, of Grosvenor Way, Droitwich, has now been told it could be nearly Christmas before they find his brother, who was last seen drinking in the Sari nightclub at the time of the bombing on Saturday, October 12.
Tom, who moved out to Hong Kong seven years ago, was on a rugby tour with his team.
Paul described Tom as a "wonderful and loving son, brother and uncle."
It is still unclear who is responsible for the atrocity which claimed the lives of nearly 200 people.
