STUDLEY striker Craig Pountney could be back in action within two months after discovering he has not broken his kneecap.

A break was the initial diagnosis after the Bees top scorer was taken to the Alexandra Hospital two weeks ago.

But a specialist told Pountney, holder of the Polymac Services Midland Alliance Golden Boot, he has damaged ligaments.

The forward is set to have an MRI scan to learn the true extent of the damage next week.
