A JURY has cleared a 50-year-old man of a sex crime against a child.
Keith Berrey had denied committing gross indecency with a nine-year-old girl four years ago.
The girl made a complaint to her mother during a discussion on paedophiles, Worcester Crown Court heard.
Mr Berrey, living at Springhill Rise, Bewdley, at the time of the complaint - and now moved to Redditch - was found not guilty after the jury retired for only 50 minutes.
He claimed the allegation was invented after the girl was influenced by someone else.
