TWO new lay chaplains have been welcomed to Kemp Hospice after the Bishop of Dudley formally commissioned them.
Jill Smith, an Anglican, and Catholic Jane DaCosta have joined two other lay chaplains and team leader Bob Murrin to give "pastoral care" to patients, volunteers and staff.
The Rt Rev David Walker commissioned the newcomers at the Sutton Park Road hospice last Wednesday.
Nurse manager Helen Windridge said: "It was a privilege to have the bishop here."
