A BID to encourage more children to cycle to school has had a big boost at a Redditch school by Worcestershire County Council.
A storage facility for 120 bikes has been installed at Ipsley Middle School and will be opened by the Bishop of Dudley. The school has developed a School Travel Plan in partnership with the county council with the focus during this academic year on cycling.
The plan aims to reduce the number of children driven to school and improve the safety of the routes they take.
