WINNIE Mandela, Malcolm X, Bob Marley and Martin Luther King are some of the figures featured in a booklet produced by a Redditch organisation to mark Black History Month.
The Redditch Black History Society booklet also includes information on Black History Month and contact details for town organisations involved in a huge cultural event taking place at Redditch Town Hall on Saturday.
The society is organising the event in conjunction with organisations including the Descendants of Windrush, Redditch Community Relations Council, One World Link, Pakistan Community Forum, Indian Association and All Women's House.
A society spokesman said a display was also being staged at Redditch Library, until October 31, featuring poets and writers from the Caribbean.
The event runs from 1.30-11.30pm.
