REGARDING the suggestion of pedestrianising High Street, Alcester, with all due respect I can assure Mr MG Edwards there would certainly be more than the traders objecting to this proposal.
Try walking children to school along School Road when the High Street is closed for the Mop. It is a horrendous situation and one that shouldn't have to be faced.
I would emphasise I am not objecting to the annual Mop, which is for two days only, but to the total closure of the High Street.
