REDDITCH'S top police officer has been suspended following serious allegations of misconduct.
Chief Supt Patsy Lord, who has been heading Redditch division for five years, was suspended from duty on Friday pending an investigation in relation to internal staffing matters.
A police spokesman yesterday confirmed the complaint against Ms Lord did not involve issues of dishonesty or integrity.
Before Ms Lord became divisional commander she was a superintendent at West Mercia Police's headquarters and before that a Chief Inspector at Redditch.
