WOODRUSH return to Powergen North Midlands One action at home to neighbours Five Ways Old Edwardians at the weekend.

Paul Moore's side were without a competitive fixture at the weekend after bowing out of the Intermediate Cup at the first hurdle.

A planned friendly against Old Griffs was postponed because of their opponents' cup commitments and Woodrush declined an alternative run out against a strong Old Yards side with Moore opting to rest his walking wounded.

The Old Icknield Street side, stabilising after two successive relegations, will fancy their chances at home to the league whipping boys (ko 3pm).

A win would keep Woodrush within two points of leaders Solihull but Moore denied there was any pressure to run in at least 50 points and match other sides' performances against Old Eds.

Centre Paul Chance is ruled out by work commitments on Saturday but Moore is hoping to have five players back.

Second row Mark Green (bruised ribs), number eight Nigel Smith, winger Nigel Simons, full back Martin Leech (work commitments) and prop Richard Jenkins (ankle) should all be available for the derby date.
