BROMSGROVE MP Julie Kirkbride met Alvechurch Councillor June Griffiths at Redditch Council on Friday to discuss the possible building of the Bordesley bypass.
The bypass may become a reality if the Abbey Stadium is given the go-ahead.
Bordesley residents have long campaigned for a bypass to relieve jams caused by traffic leaving the M42 for Redditch.
The possible construction of the Abbey Stadium may mean the developers would have to build the bypass in return for planning permission.
