JEFF Heath's Birmingham League Division 2 side has made a solid start to the season with two drawn games and a win this week.
There were wins from Steve Wells (board 3), Jeff Heath (4) and new member Tom Robinson (5).
Paul Robertson (1) and Giles Stanton (6) both drew.
Nigel Tower's game on board 2 is adjourned but Nigel looks to have a win.
Tom Robinson has moved to Redditch from Birmingham University and is having a tremendous run, winning all three of his Birmingham League games so far.
Tom is following a family tradition as his great uncle John Barrett played for Jeff's team for several years and still sometimes plays friendly games at the club.
