A JURY has cleared a 50-year-old man of a sex crime against a child.
Keith Berrey had denied committing gross indecency with a nine-year-old girl four years ago.
The girl made a complaint to her mother during a discussion on paedophiles, Worcester Crown Court heard.
Mr Berrey, of Frankton Close, Redditch, was found not guilty after the jury retired for only 50 minutes.
He insisted the allegation was invented when he was living in Bewdley after the girl was influenced by someone else.
