HARRY Potter and Little Red Riding Hood were just some of the colourful characters children chose to dress up as part of a book week.
Children at Broadwas CE Primary School also got to act out sketches from books as part of a dressing-up day yesterday.
Staff also got into the fun spirit by dressing up as characters from Peter Pan.
Niky Wilding , who teaches seven to nine-year-olds said the children normally dressed up every year.
Variety
"We had some characters from Lord of the Rings, and Three Little Pigs, there was a lot of variety," she said.
"The children had a fantastic day, it was brilliant."
Miss Wilding said the children at the school in Broadwas-on-Teme, near Worcester, also enjoyed making book markers, and reading poetry during the rest of book week.
